1-14th History Project: Vietnam 1969 - 1970     Welcome to the 1st/14th Vietnam History Project for the years 1969 and 1970. Golden Dragon history for '69 and '70 is sketchy and incomplete, with most official records of Daily Journals and After Action Reports missing from the archives.  Therefore, we have set for ourselves the task of recreating, with your help, the history of these years.  Our efforts are twofold... 1-14th NARRATIVE HISTORY PROJECT: VIETNAM 1969-1970 and  VIETNAM OPERATIONAL TIMELINE: 1969-1970 The record of these years exists nowhere else.  These are stories that should be told... for our brothers, our children and ourselves.  If we do not tell them, our history will not be written.
