1st Battalion, 14th Infantry Changes... Thanks to the great response by Golden Dragons to the formation of the 14th Infantry Regiment Association, it has become obvious to us that a separate web presence is needed to conduct Association business and facilitate improved communication between all Golden Dragons today.  The upcoming website will represent our 14th Infantry Regiment Association, encompassing all current-day projects, rosters, reunion planning, communications and general Association business.     The 1-14th.com website will remain, and continue to grow, as a Legacy site, honoring all Golden Dragons of the 1st-14th, and building an ever-growing archive of photographs  and historical material to tell the story of our proud and distinguished service...  in Vietnam and throughout our nation's history. Management of the 1-14th.com website has been in the hands of our volunteer webmaster, Candace Miesse, for the past 2 years, while the site has been supported financially since 2004 by 14th Infantry Veteran, Tom Jones. We learned, however, through the near loss of this important site after the death of it's founder, Terry Bender,  that the future survival of our Historical Archives must not remain dependant on one individual. Therefore, the support and oversight of the 1-14th.com will be one of the responsibilities assumed by the 14th Infantry Regiment Association, with continuance of  the site therefore assured, as our gift to Golden Dragons and their families everywhere. Candace has agreed to continue the work she has come to love, that of building and managing the 1-14th historical and photographic archives.  Meanwhile, we are currently searching for the right person to take on the construction and management of the Association Website.   Are you interested and able?  It's alot of work, but the rewards are GREAT!   ...Right of the Line...
